Wheeler. He founded the Wheeler Lumber Company in 1910. The success of the town was, in part, due to the railroad. A famous arthritis clinic, Rinehart Arthritis Clinic, was opened in Wheeler in the 1920's. During the 70's, the economy downturned resulting in the closing of many large employers of the area. Because of this, Wheeler's economy suffered greatly. As the 1990's came, residents of the area decided to revitalize their town.
