MA Kilker Victorian house built in 1917 by Attorney MA Kilker after the Valentine's Day fire of 1917 that burned most of an entire block. It is located at 20 West Main Street. The house is painted like the "painted lady" Victorians, San Francisco style. It consists of 24 rooms, 64 windows (curved, leaded, beveled & stained. Cypress wood ornate columns and woodwork imported from France with much hard wood in-laid floors. Currently under renovation and is an office of the Kilker Law Offices, a third generation Girardville Law Firm. The building is eligible for historic site designation.
