History & History Related Items Linesville history: The nickname comes from the fact that the carp at the spillway area at Pymatuning Lake are fed bread by the visitors amounting to thousands of loaves each week. The carp are so numerous at this point that the ducks actually walk on the backs of the fish to compete for the proferred bread.
