in 1991,1992,1998,2000 and 2001 Rochester High School's football team won W.P.I.A.L championships and the "A" 1998, 2000 and 2001 RHS football team won state beaver county there have been only 2 teams to win state titles in football, Rochester and Aliquipa. in 2001 rochester football graduated some great football players that have now gone on to college football...they are Kirby Griffin, Mike Boyd, Andre Haney, Matt kinlock and chad whitaker
