1999, December
I would like to congratulate Andrew Jackson Academy of Ehrhardt, South Carolina. They have brought home three consecutive 8-man football state championship trophies. I am a student at AJA and would like to commemorate my fellow football players. However, we did not bring home the trophy this year. We played hard guys!! I'm proud of you!!!! Submitted by Paul

Looking for the "Folks"

My name is Ellen Folk Breedon. My father, Lamar Folk, and his brothers were born in Ehrhardt. Benjamin and Kathleen Muller Folk were their parents. They lived over beside the old school that had an auditorium close to the road. They died about 30 years ago. Ben Folk, my granddad, was the mailman.
I teach gifted literature and discovered last week an author named Wylly Folk. Later she married a man with the last name of St. John. She was born near Ehrhardt and later moved to Social Circle, GA and wrote there. Please let me know if you have any information about her or if there are still any "Folks" in town that I can get in touch with.
