Horseshoe Bend Festival

The Clifton Rotary Club has plans well underway for the three-day celebration in Historical Clifton. Events will kick-off on Friday, August 18th, with a toe tapping country music street dance on Main Street. Saturday events will include a street fair with vendor booths, local merchandise, food, children's activities, civil war encampment, quilt fair, horse and buggy rides, arts and crafts show and demonstrations, home tours and a $5000 Bass Fishing Classic. Saturday evening activities will culminate with a blowout classic rock and roll dance on Main Street. Sunday afternoon will be devoted to Southern Gospel Music with several choral groups expected to participate. Those interested in obtaining vendor space should contact Sonny and Bernice Corliss at 901-925-5910. Musical groups wishing to participate in Sunday's Gospel Fest should contact Warren Miller at 931-676-3985.
