Nearly 2,000 people crossed through this gap in the mountains to settle the Kentucky and Ohio Valley. The park features a Visitor Center, Pinnacle Overlook, Wilderness Road Trail, Civil War earth forts, and campgrounds. There are over 50 miles of hiking trails.
