Monteagle Inn-Bed & Breakfast/ Northgate Lodge-Bed & Breakfast /Adams Edgeworth Inn-Bed & Breakfast/ Monteagle Sunday School Assembly - This is private residential area that has been in existence since the 1800's with many houses only occupied in the summer months and several year round. The houses are Victorian with two of the bed and breakfasts in this Assembly (northgate Lodge and Adam's Edgeworth Inn).
Clifftops-Another nice private residential area with more modern accommodations.

Jim Oliver's Smokehouse and Log Cabin Rentals - This restaurant has been in Monteagle for over 25 years and is beside a small log cabin Wedding Chapel and Cabin Rental, they are quaint but nice.
Monteagle has the infamous Flea Market which is held on every Sunday of each week, there are 2 flea markets, one on each end of town, full of just about anything you would want year round.
The interstate, which runs through Monteagle, is I24, and Monteagle is on Exits 134 and 135.
Du Bose Conference Center is located in Monteagle where people from all over come to meet in a small town setting.
Mountain Market is a craft show held every August with a wide variety of arts and crafts.
