July each year!Annual Water Carnival
Water Carnival is an annual community event featuring synchronized swimming and dance acts. All featured performers and set productions are done by community volunteers. This will be the 69th annualproduction. People from all over the state of Texas and elsewhere make the annual trek to the desert of West Texas to see this unique, family entertainment. Local beauty pageants are held each evening. Young ladies ages 3-21 will compete in 6 separate age groups, with the crowning of Miss Fort Stockton as the featured event in Saturday's extravaganza.
Tickets go on sale approximately 3 weeks before the show begins. Ticket information can be obtained by calling the Fort Stockton Chamber of Commerce at 915/336-2204. Tickets are $ 5 for Thursday and Friday night and Saturday tickets are $ 7.
