Lamesa attractions: Dawson County Museum -- A local museum featuring relics from the early farming, ranching, and oil field days of the area. Located on the SE corner of the town square, across from the County Courthouse building. The Museum is in the building that was built as the Del Paso Hotel. The Pharmacy and soda fountain were located in what is now the Chamber of Commerce that is a portion of the same building. Return to Index
