Nocona location: in northern Texas near the Oklahoma border. It is on Highway 82 along the Red River just 47 miles east of Wichita Falls and 36 miles west of Gainesville. Within a two-hour drive are the major cities of Dallas, Fort Worth, Gainesville and Wichita Falls. In neighboring Oklahoma, Ardmore, Lawton, Norman and Oklahoma City are also with a two-hour time frame.
