History & History Related Items Seabrook history: Here is a history page for Seabrook. In 1895,land was purchased here by Seabrook W. Sydnor and a plat was filed with the Harris County Courthouse the following year. A revised plan was filed in March of 1903 by the Seabrook Company. The town was named by its founder.
