Being an avid reader, Otelia began to chose names from her books, among them Wakefield, Windsor and Waverley. As they went along they reached a station in Prince George County and could not agree on a name for this station. They finally agreed to disagree and coined the name of Disputanta in reference to their dispute over its name.
