Monroe location: in southwestern Snohomish County on the north bank of the Skykomish River, approximately 7 miles north of the King County Boundary. The City of Everett is 17 miles northwest of Monroe on Highway 2, and the City of Seattle is about 35 miles southwest of Monroe.
