The Washougal Community Library belongs to the Fort Vancouver Regional Library System. The Library has 18,000 physical items. Patrons have use of three terminals that give access to the Internet and word processing. At the Library patrons have access to a wide array of electronic databases including full-text magazines, full-text newspapers, business directories, biographical information, literary criticism, a photo archive, and, a geneaological database. With remote patron authentication using their library card number patrons can access most of these databases from home. The Washougal Library has a bookclub that meets monthly. The Camas-Washougal Poetry Society meets monthly at the Library. A Young Adult Advisory Board meets monthly. The Library hosts an annual Doll Tea Party and presents preschool storytime on Wednesday at 10 a.m. The Friends of the Washougal Library sponsor an annual used booksale.
