Attractions

Buckhannon attractions:
Shilo Llama Farm is located three miles east of Buckhannon on old route 33. It is the home to thirteen registered llamas. Llamas originated in South America but enjoy the mountains of West Virginia and the cool climate. They are friendly, inquisitve and intelligent animals. Contrary to popular opinion, they are not prone to spitting (as are camels). Their wool is valuable and used for sweaters, scarves, etc. They have also been used as pack animals.
