Robert E. Lee family cabin
Mathias Homestead on "National Historic Site"
Lost River State Park - 4 miles east of Mathias, covers 3,712 acres of woodlands. Originally a part of a resort, Lee's Sulphur Springs, developed by the Lee family. The father of Robert E. Lee, Henry Lee (AKA "Light Horse Harry"), received a land grant which included this area. The restored cabin is on the grounds. A lodge and food are available.
