PURPOSE: To promote and advance the economic, commercial and industrial interests of the City of Mullens and adjacent areas; to initiate and aid in all projects and endeavors of the business community; to foster the welfare of area residents; to sponsor and supervise programs, events and civic endeavors contributing to the foregoing; to cooperate in like state; regional and national programs; and to transact all lawful business and activities in connection therewith or incident thereto.
Officers for the year 2001 are as follows:

Richie Tankersley NOTE: Eva Smith was the first woman to be elected to this Chamber of Commerce. She was first elected in 1997, and again in 1998. She was elected again in 2001. In 1997 all of the officers were women/another first. Eva, Rosalie Conner, Millicent, and Carol.
The Chamber meets the fourth Thursday of each month at 12 noon in Roma's Pizzeria on Howard Avenue. New members are always welcome!
