The climate for Yucca is moderate all year long with mild winter temperatures and cooler summers than other parts of the state. Summer temperatures may go as high as 100 degrees. In the winter, the lows may go down to the low 20's only periodically. Most winter days average about 30-45. The sun shines throughout the winter with almost all the rain coming in the summer with tropical monsoons.
Yucca attractions: Property is very reasonably priced here, due to its small town size.A person can pick up 1 1/4 acre to 2 1/2 acres or more for anywhere from$12,500 to $18,000 and up depending on what the property has on it.Families in this area are friendly and look out for each other. It's a real old-fashioned community. You'll find beautiful desert scenery here with flowering cactus and numerous wildlife. There are great places to visit and also lots of yearly events in the area such as Route 66 Fun Run, classic cars, etc. ground water may be found as shallow as 100 feet below ground, but many areas must go down about 400 feet to find water.
