Attractions

DeLand, Florida is the home of one of the United States most complete and unique National Historic Districts and is one of only five 5 cities in the United States to have been bestowed the coveted "Main Street America" Certification as it is the true center what is still considered "Norman Rockwells" America. It is one of the most charming and friendly places in the U.S.

DeLand is also the home of Twin Chimneys, the turn-of-the-century estate of T.C. Beavers, proprietor of The T.C. Beavers Flying Circus and Traveling Jazz & Medicine Show. Although now a private residence, Twin Chimneys has been restored to its turn of the century opulence and is available for tours during the holiday season. The house has also developed a long standing international following since the late 20's as it is said that the estate is the site of a documented haunting.
