Attractions

Fanning Springs, on a high Suwannee River Bluff, is located within the boundaries of two counties - Gilchrist and Levy. It has many springs and is the site of historic Fort Fanning, built in 1836. The springs are operated by the Florida park Service and are well-known as a popular place for divers and boating.
