Moore Haven Community Events

First Weekend in March each year!
The annual Chalo Nitka Festival is held the first weekend of March every year.
Chalo Nitka means "Big Bass" in the Seminole Indian language. The festival serves as a homecoming celebration and hosts a carnival and a two day rodeo.
