September 10, 11, 12, 1999 and every year the weekend after Labor Day.25th Annual (1999) St. Paul Fall Festival
Sponsored by St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department
Place: Downtown St. Paul
Time: Friday from noon till dark, Saturday from 9:00am till 11:00 pm, Sunday 9:00 till 6:00pm
The festival was started 25 years ago by Catherine (Kate) Motz to bring people into this small community. For 23 years the St. Paul Civic Group sponsored the festival. In 1998, Kate retired as festival chairman and turned the festival over the St. Paul Volunteer Fire Department. The festival features arts and crafts and flea markets all three days, with a parade on Sunday at 2:00 pm. The Fireman sponsor a fish fry, and there are activities for the whole family for all three days.
Come and enjoy yourself, and stop in at Kate's Krafts to thank Kate Motz for starting this wonderful festival 25 years ago.
