Holly Springs now has a support group for home schooling families in and around the Holly Springs area. The group is called Holly Springs Home Schoolers (HSHS) and has about 25 families involved at this time. It was started in August,2000 by Nikki Esquivel, a resident of Holly Springs, former public school teacher and home schooling mother. The main purpose of this group is a place for home schooling families to meet with and support one another. A secondary purpose is the planning of park days, social events and service projects for the home schooled students of our town. We are open to anyone who is home schooling a child who is between the ages of 5 and 18.
For additional information or meeting times, please e-mail Nikki at nikesquivel@nc.rr.com
