Jamesburg is a borough with the Monroe Township. It was founded by James Buckelew and incorporated in 1887. Buckelew's home still stands today as a memorial. On the grounds is the famous Lincoln Coach which was used to transport President Lincoln to the Statehouse in Trenton.
