History & History Related Items Point Blank history: Point Blank was first called Blanc Point by Florence Dissiway, a french woman who came here in the 1850s to be a governess for the Robinson families. The name was later changed to Point Blank. The post office was opened in 1884. The residents voted for incorporation in 1975.
