Apple Valley was the home of famous western duo, Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Their museum was opened here in 1967. It was then relocated to Victorville in 1976 and finally, in 2003, the museum was moved to Branson, Missouri. Both Roy and Dale are buried here in Apple Valley.
